As the number of outlets grew due to the high customer demand, MWSB needs to have branch offices outside of Melaka to ensure that market and good services are maintained. Therefore, the Area Coordinator system is introduced. These Area Coordinators serves to carry out MWSB's marketing system similar to that in the head office in Melaka. New members who wish to apply for the Maya Card can easily directly contact the Area Coordinator and details regarding the Area Coordinator can be accessed through the website, in the Area Coordinators' column.

Website

To facilitate the Maya Card holders in obtaining the latest information and outlets, MWSB launched its website, www.rainmaya.com. This website enables the members to obtain faster and latest information about the company and the outlets. This website has detailed information on the company, products for sale, list of Area Coordinators and how to contact them, new membership forms, and email access to the company. Since rainmaya.com was surfed by more than 10,000 people, mainly those who are very keen on vacations, it has been a very good medium to channel information on tourism.
